R1100S with ABS?

Hello,

My brother fancies an R1100S that he's seen for sale, but he/I don't know much about the bike... the only question at the minute is "Does a '99 T plate have ABS fitted as standard?"

He's only seen it in an advert from a breakers as it's a crashed repaired, some minor damage to a fairing by all accounts, and I think the price was about £2500.

Think you'll find it was optional.

A mate had a 2000 W R1100S without (bought used).

I had a 2001 Y with (bought used).
