i asked the question in the 1150 section and then realised this section so ill ask it again to see if anyone has attempted it....
it looks like i could almost do a straigt engine swap of a r1100s engine into a 1150gs. the motronic is the same, the gearbox would need to be kept as the gs due to frame mountings...some ancillary work possibilities but all engine mounting the same..assuming i got a single spark gs as my s is the same the loom will be almost identical.
question is, anyone had a go?
