R1150GS Adv aluminium cases - removing lock barrels

Hi there,

Has anyone got any experience of removing the lock barrels on 1150 Adventure aluminium cases?

I'm familiar with the concept of how they come out, and have re-coded several sets of system panniers and, more recently, the seat lock mechanism on my current bike. The trouble is, I can't see where the 'securing' wafer is and therefore can't get to it and release it...

Can anyone give me the benefit of their experience please?

`its in the internal of the lock if that makes sense, something thin inbetween the hinged part of the latch to release.
I was lucky (well sort of) the hinge broke so the lock opened up.
