Removing / recoding ADV aluminium topbox lock?

Hi - anyone know if recoding the locks for the aluminum top box and holder (ADV) is the same process as for the standard black panniers? For the standard panniers removing the lock is straightforward - push a screwdriver in a hole with the key in the lock. Is this the same for the adventure top box set?
