I have an R1150gs adventure and it seems the rear mounts for the sump guard are missing? Is there supposed to be a spacer between the engine and the sump guard ?

Has anyone got any clear photos of the sump guard rear mounts on either side?

Thanks in advance.

Has it been lowered in the past and perhaps fitted with a GS Lite centre stand? The Adv centre stand pivots have the threaded holes for the rear bash-plate mounts built into them IIRC...

My bike was orignally a GS and i have converted it into a gsa. i have the correct front mount and isolator bobbins, but the rear has me stumped. I have the GSA centre stand and sidestand fitted, it does appear theres a mount for the sidestand side rear sump guard mounting point thats parts of the sidestand bracket. Some pics from a kind person with a GSA would be superb.
I have searched on motorworks and it doesnt show any details for the rea mount other than an M8 x 14mm long fastener on each side.

Ha ha, now having it looked at the parts listed for the GSA centre stand it appears that one of the sidestand mounts isnt from a GSA, and thats why i havent got a mount on one side.
Thanks for the reply Mike.
