What's the heads up on lowered seat for R1150GS?
How much does this lower the seat by?
Suppliers?
Any sage advice out there?
Everything appreciated
Failing knees require instant access to flat foot on the ground nowadays when stopping:eek:

I put the Hyperpro, and also lowered the seat. I eliminated the hollow of the tools, I replaced the front seat support pieces (nº 52537654284) for a thinner aluminium ones, and the rubber mounts (number 52537664664) for others more thinner too.

Another means of lowering the seat a bit is to switch to alloys. Improves the already good handling at the same time!

I did it less the foam and the cover that was done by an upholsterer. Unfortunately, now I´m on hollidays in Guatemala, and I can´t tell you how much difference with original. In two weeks I´ll be back home, so I´ll tell you then. I can tell you than I´m 170 cm (5´7") tall, and I feel the difference.
