R1150GS Rear brake disk replacement.

I see that eBay have rear brake disks on offer for the R1150GS, and I've just noticed the GS Shop has them as well. Have any members purchased same from these sources and were the disks up to spec? Any comments welcomed.

GSShop is AKA Steptoe on here. Check out the 850/1100/1150 section for his posts especially the stickies.

Buy from GS Shop.

It might be splashed with flecks of pie & mash but the part will be good quality.

I picked up a pair of front discs from GSShop/Steptoe last night. No blobs of pie and mash are evident.

Good price, quick delivery, good fit and no issues so far

I've seen some complain of vibration with the cheaper versions warping - not so the ones from Steppers.

Funny things disks - they look simple enough but I bet they aren't

I've had a couple sets from Steptoe- they work well
I've also had a set of Gold (aka Goldfren) ones off Ebay - they barely work at all.
