Thats 4 ...
You had me until you gave it a name??!!My best view, going away
Helga is an ABS-2 non servo bike, I'm told that this is the best batch of the lot, & has gone in for some work this autumn: time for a WILBERS shock rebuild, replacement front wheel (rattly brake dics on the old wheel due to elongated bolt holes) and new engine bars by SW-MOTECH after a couple of low speed drops in stupid lanes
After a full service and some T&C I'm sure that this bike will see me through many more miles, currently on 67k (so just run in).

All 1150 GS owners are rebels ……..You old rebel you……..

Might be worth while sending a used beak as well (if you can get hold of or borrow one ) to tweak the fit 100%Righty ho, I’ve contacted my 3D printing chap and he has a shiny new 3D printer that can do up to 36cm cubed so that’s good news.
He’s quite looking forward to the challenge of the unusual shape too.
The only down side is that he’s away touring until the 15th September.
Hey ho, all good things come to those who wait.
I’ll send my new spare one down to him. He will have a measure, try a few experiments and send me a prototype to see if it’s any good.
I’ll let those interested know the results.![]()
Does he do mudguards, as there have been several people asking me where they could get one for the 17” front wheel conversion.?Righty ho, I’ve contacted my 3D printing chap and he has a shiny new 3D printer that can do up to 36cm cubed so that’s good news.

I would think they would be too big for his printer. I will as the question when he gats back from his holiday though.Does he do mudguards, as there have been several people asking me where they could get one for the 17” front wheel conversion.?
Nope. A very nice chap on here ( Mike O ) used to get them made but that stopped a while ago unfortunately. I may take mine off and send it to a chap I know who does excellent 3D printing to see if he can make them.
You may be extremely lucky and find one on here second hand but they very rarely come up for sale. I would like another one to save me taking mine off to see if they can be duplicated. Not happened for yonks though.![]()
