R1150GS ... they still have "it", don't they?

I still have the mould to make more - but my chap from Lotus needed at least 10 orders to make them. We tried to find 10 a few years back, when a couple of people asked, but I guess I must have saturated the market...

If anyone here is a fibre-glasser who wants it, I'm happy to send it to them if they pay postage...

Yes please! If not already claimed by someone else.

Get them ceramic coated - never have to concern yourself about them again...

No problem - either PM me your name and address, or - since you’re not far away - pop over and collect it 👍😎
Aah, no, I’m now based in Worcestershire. :D
I’ll PM my address and get whatever postage costs you want sent. :thumb2

Where can I get the ceramic coating done please

I used these chaps: CamCoat - it was few year. back. I had them done in silver outside and black inside. It's a good treatment, so long as you don't:
1. Try to clean the headers when they are hot or
2. Use chemical cleaners on them - warm soapy water will bring them up fine.

Well thanks to Mike O’ superb generosity I’m now in possession of the original mould for the dash in fill panel. :clap :bow

Now while I’m waiting for the 3D printer to come back of his holiday I may see if I can find a good fibreglassing place locally or even have a go myself.
What can possibly go wrong. :DIMG_5540.jpegIMG_5539.jpegIMG_5538.jpeg

I know this might have been asked before but do you fancy having a go at the smaller front mudguard to fit the 17 inch conversion 😜
Not me, no sorry. I don’t have a 3D printer.

Might be interested in one of these if they fit the 1100 models too.
What Id really like though is the wee triangular side panels. Any chance we could get some of those 3D copied?

Possibly, but i don’t have any to get copied.
I’m pretty sure the in fill panels don’t fit the 1100.
Maybe Mike O would know. He did all the hard work in the first place. :thumb2

Great thread, thanks retroman for starting it.

My 1150 now 21 years old, 102 k miles but far too few miles this year and no garage queen. (Used as GS’s should be and pictured here in the Niger delta).
