Selling my well used 2005 model R1150GSA. Last year of production for this model, twin spark, no ABS.
I am in the process of moving house and am reducing my herd of bikes from 3 to 1 as I no longer do the mileage to justify more than 1 bike - this bike has done just over 1000 miles in the last 3 years. Based in Northwich (Cheshire)

Good points:
runs well, still pulls like a train
Owned by me since 2013
Both front and rear tyres are good, rear was new for MoT last year.
MoT until 20th October 2025
comes with lockable Touratech ally panniers and appropriate mountiung racks fitted to bike
givi top box mounting plate fitted (no box included)
spare pair of wheels
spare seat (not pictured)
just over 70k miles - not a lot for this type of bike
wiring/mount for Garmin zumo xt sat nav
new battery last year
almost full tank of petrol!

Bad points:
plenty of surface corrosion - the bike has been ridden in all weathers
Cat D write off in 2005 or 2006 (can't remember which and can't find HPI bike check document from when I bought it) - tank has been resprayed, I think the coloured stripe should be yellow)

The pictures show an extender fitted to the exhaust - I found that with panniers fitted, "spirited" riding should cause heat from the exhaust to delaminate the number plate! - the left pannier is close fitting as shaped to go round the exhaust.

My sort of bike and great riding value... Just noticed the airflow screen which is gold...👍 I'm 3 bikes up already with a similar 1100GS or we might be talking... Here's to luck...👍

best £200 i ever spent on mine .
I had/have that type of screen on all 3 of my GSs and one on my K100 many years ago. I am 6'6" and stadard screens are just too low
Seems like they may have folded.

Same here and one of my GSs had screen and the Aero guards which did make it nearly like an RT... Can't find another set...

Looks like a nice little project to bring it up to a presentable level to me 👍🏻
I’m not getting on with my resurrected blackbird so will see ….. and you’re not too far away!! 😊

I used to ride about 18k a year, now nearer 3k - I just can't justify more than 1 bike (I had 3). Did a 110 mile each way run on it last week.
