And remember that you will get less into a headwind as I once found out on the M74... The biggest laugh was I stooped a mile short of the services, forgot which way to lean the bike to get the fuel to the pump side and leant it the wrong way and it started and got me the rest of the way... I always budget for 40miles max on the light... I have made more but was resigned to my fate...
