For most of us, most of the time, the GS is fast enough / comfortable enough / gives enough grins and suits they style of riding that most enjoy.

The sportsbike can go faster etc etc, but is that everything

The rider's ability is everything. On modern big bikes it doesn't matter on an open road it is the rider an as Proff's vid demonstrates with traffic and other hazards a GS is more than capable in the right riders hands....
