Havinging busted a hinge on my panniers I followed a thread on this forum to a company called Zygology who can supply said items cheaper than BMW.

Just to up date members as the prices appear to have changed, with vat they are now £12.76 each but postage is £10 (they send by a carrier not Royal Mail) a total of £35.51 a pair, still cheaper than BMW.

I can highly recommend their service, I rang on Wed afternoon and had them the next morning and I live in the north of Scotland, top service.:thumb2

These hinges dont seem to be too good after they have weathered a bit
I had the same problem one hinge was making a noise when I opener the pannier few days later it snapped I think they need a lubrication point so I have drilled a small hole in the plastic end cap and pumped it full of grease and put a No 4 stainless pan head screw in the hole

I checked with ZYGOLOGY and he was very helpful but he was asking for £12 .76 per Hinge and postage on top he did offer a discount for 10

I have found a cheaper option to buy the same hinge for half the price and may consider to buy a few if there is demand for them

where? After a brief mad spell where I removed the cable to stop the lid swinging right open, I find I need to replace both hinges. Any links / sources gratefully received
