I have a pair of R1150GSA wheels which have flatspots on the rims!!!
The hubs and spokes are as new. What I would like is to build or have built new rims onto my existing hubs. However, I've priced genuine beemer parts, and second hand wheels in this case would be a better (substantially cheaper) option.
a) Does anybody know of any supplier that may have suitable rims?
b) Could they or anybody else, build them onto my hubs?

Seems a pity to have two lovely shiney hubs and no actual use for them!
Thanks for any help/advice

Every buckled, bent, crashed wheel has perfect hubs.

It's the rims everyone wants :augie

But by the time you've factored in the cost of having them relaced it's cheaper getting secondhand wheels.

Oh now there's a thing!

Imagine that!

Everyone wants rims!

Pehaps that's why I was asking the question if anybody knew if such items could be obtained!

I was in search of proper information, not advise to get second hand wheels, which if you had read my thread, you would see I had already factored!!!

Thanks again!

Sorry to be abrupy earlier Steptoe, its just that I was hoping to find a way out of what seems a horrendously expensive situation.:tears

I had one of those Michael Douglas "Falling Down" days!!! :mcgun

Anyway, hope you're not huffing with me? :beerjug:

Does anybody want to buy a pair of GSA hubs in excellent condition?
(Spokes and Flat Spotted Rims thrown in!) (Didn't think so!)

Cheers Bigbaz
