Does anyone happen to have one to fit oilheads that I could borrow for 30 seconds? Just want to check the previous owner actually tighted it up enough and whether it's the source of a small oil leak or not. I'm in Islington so if anyone has one nearby I'd be eternally grateful (as it'll save me a trip to Halfords :augie).

Not nearby so halfords may be nearer but I'm in surrey
I'll be in town,( moorfields ) Tuesday next week if that's any good :thumb2

Thanks for the kind offer Dazzle. I'm going to try and pick up one from Halfords tomorrow on my way to a wedding. If that's not successful I may well take you up on your offer on Tuesday but I'll let you know, thanks!

If you can collect/return from/to Holborn Circus during the week (10:00-18:00) then you can borrow mine.
If interested then PM me for contact details.

If a 1500 take of the bash plate before you go, do it while your there and bingo! 5 mins and all over 1200 just go.

I'm in St. Albans if that's any good. I probably have a spare one you can have. PM me if you are interested.

One or more for sale on the sale section jump in quick!.

Thanks for all the offers guys. Still trying to diagnose exactly where the leak is coming from. It's basically stopped now so I'm less certain it's from the oil filter (could be the oil outlet pipe). I'll keep monitoring it but appreciate all the offers :beerjug:

If its only when the bike is hot, check the oil return pipe from the cooler, the standard alloy sealing washers rot out DAMHIK

That's exactly what I reckon. Guessing the last run I had on it (only a few miles to pick something up) didn't get it up to temperature. Glad to know it's not a stupid thought :thumb2
