What manufacturer oil cooler guard did you fit to your gs ?
I didn't buy it , I made one myself that fits inside the OEM cooler guard , I'll take a photo and post up

Spoke with Evotech today and they could not tell me if there 2024 r12 guard will fit
The coolers are the same but I see the r12gs has a surround all over it which the r12 doesn’t have

Here are the pictures (pre cleaning) of the plastic mesh I fitted to the inside of the stock guard and secured it with four spots of plastic weld
It worked a treat and the radiator was as new underneath
Bike scrubbed up like new , front cover was damage free and it was just road grime on it and the link pipe which easily cleaned off . Sprayed the engine with FS 365 to protect it

I notice you have the unit garage’s stand extension. Did it fit ok or did you have to trim anything? I just returned one, couldn’t make it fit.
Fitted no problem , I did have to file a little off the casting line at the very bottom of the foot but was a 2 minute job
I swapped the black hex socket flange head screws for BMW torx ones as well
I have a hepco & Becker side stand enlarger and rear carrier on order

Ah, I may have had to file the stand itself a bit. Oops.
I was really surprised how well they performed , we had two half days of torrential rain and they were superb . I would happily refit them when it needs new tyres

I was passing Bahnstormers yesterday so dropped in to look at a 12 G/S.
I thought it looked even better in the flesh, than in pictures. The ergonomics were spot on (for me) too.
The only slight surprise was when I asked where the pillion pegs were. Ah, they’re an extra sir…
Other than that, for me it would be a really desirable bike. Please keep the owner experiences coming.
