I've had this R12 NineT for a couple of days whist the GS is in for a big service & a warranty fix.

I've not liked the R9T's I've ridden before (about 4 of them as loan bikes) but this is a far better bike.

Plenty of grunt, stable at speed if you duck down a bit. Suspension not as plush as the GS obvs and a bit crashy at low speeds but it smooths out nicely at higher speeds. Decent turn in and holds a line nicely. Front brakes (Bremdo’s) really strong with good feel. Back brake a bit weak with a lot of dead travel at first. The main issue even for me was the seat to peg dimension. It’s tiny and hurt my hips. Christ knows how a taller rider is expected cope. The non adjustable pegs would have to go immediately.

The little dash gives you all the essential info. I mean f8ck those "pure" versions with no rev counter or gear indicator. The quick shifter works well & it has heated grips.

All in all, a perfect bike to ride in hot weather. The wind blast has been very welcome.

I’ve literally just got back from a quick 4 days in Normandy where the temperature hit 43 at its peak. I took my R9T Turban and honestly I wouldn’t have swapped it for any other bike, it was perfect.
