Beautiful bike (which I bought from another member of UKGSer approx 6 years ago) with loads of extras including BMW topbox (and BMW panniers, price to discuss) made by touratech and excellent nearly new tyres (Dunlop Trailmax Raid). Ask for more info and arrange a view. It has been unused since its last MOT (passed with no advisories).

Asking price £4100 with 45k miles on the clock. Hoping for a quick sale

I WILL GIVE IT A FRESH MOT.

Beautiful machine, will make someone very happy.

Details:

The bike is a late single cam special edition "Alpine White" R1200 GS and the standard features of this model include:

Heated grips
Full trip computer inc. tyre pressure monitors
ESA suspension front and rear - support for Sport / Normal / Soft modes, Enduro modes etc.
ABS / TC
Spoked Wheels
Beak Extension
Akrapovic silencer
Spotlights

Additions:

Full BMW adventure boxes @ 1400 (If you want them included in sale)
BMW lower engine bars @ 250
Wunderlich front and rear ergo seat @ 500
Wunderlich side bag @100
Wunderlich lowered riders footrests @ 150
Wunderlich lowered pillion footrests @ 100
Wunderlich USB socket conversion @ 35
Wunderlich throttle lock @ 100
Touratech GPS mount bar @ 100
Touratech toolbox @ 100
Mudsling @ 140
Headlight protector @ 50 (though this has a crack and may want replacing for a long ride, you can get cheaper ones than this)
MRA touring screen @ 140
Nippy Normans winglets @ 80
Denali airhorn @ 70
Cymarc airhorn fitting kit @ 30
Machine Art cylinder head guards @ 140
Front and rear loop recording cameras @ 200

Price reduced for a quicker sale, grab a great bike with loads of extras at a bargain price. Inclusion of BMW Touratech Adventure boxes to be discussed.

Service wise I never take the book so dont have stamps since the last owner (who was very good and I believe was main dealer servicing up to 2019). I get my bikes serviced at Zenith Motorcycles in North London who are excellent independent. Also have loads of old receipts for bits and bobs etc.

Thanks for looking and get in touch with any questions or to come to take a look. Located London N4.

So just to be clear, the bike as photographed is £4100 and the adventure boxes are negotiable ?

What's the service history like ?

Main dealer or independent ?
Currently the bike has had the pannier rack (which also has the toolbox attached) removed and only has the top box. This was done for a buyer who never turned up. So I intend to discuss with a buyer their needs. Basic idea was to sell without the rack/panniers for 4100 ovno and negotiate if the touratech panniers are needed.

Service wise I never take the book so dont have stamps since the last owner (who was very good and I believe was main dealer servicing up to 2019). I get my bikes serviced at Zenith Motorcycles in North London who are excellent independent. Also have loads of old receipts for bits and bobs etc.

I should note that over the past two years this bike has basically been unused due to my financial situation. It has been started up occasionally and of course taken to MOT (zero advisories). It is in need of a new MOT very soon so that will be included for new buyer.

It’s got some quality bits on it, was a great bike and looks like you’ve had some good adventures on it. :)

GLWS!

Thanks Ian! Have loved my time with it, it's taken me to many a far flung place and never gave me any issues at all! Such a quality bike.

Nice bike….peak single cam IMO. I also preferred the single cam motor over the twin cam. Smother and longer 6th gear for even more relaxed cruising.

A lot say that
I preferred my single cam that I owned to the twincams I have ridden
I find the twin cams too buzzy and coarse - granted they have a shove at 4-5k when the flappy flap does it’s thing

UPDATE

PRICE REDUCED TO £3950... seems like a steal at this price!

NEW MOT... just got a fresh MOT, no issues. Though annoyingly I hadn't reconnected the horn before the MOT so they initially failed it! But obviously quickly rectified. Also they thought I had a brake fluid leak but I had just bled the brakes and it was just a tiny drop of brake fluid at the nipple. So all positive ready for new owner.

I thought this bike would get snapped up at this price. Please let me know your thoughts on it and feel free to DM questions and offers.

You're in a very flat market and PCP is dead easy way into the new bikes... Just clear up whether the extra listed are in the deal or extra... You've mentioned the adventure boxes but might help to clarify the rest... 😉

Sorry if it is not clear folks. EVERYTHING is included as described and is already mounted on the bike, only the side rack with adventure boxes are to be discussed.
