R1200 GSA 90 Anniversary

That is my intention - Hilltop remap when I come back from Croatia - mid September

I'm trying to resist. (Talk me out of it please) I will keep an eye out for your 90. I tried to find one, didn't want to go up North, so went with a triple black instead.

What's the hilltop remap cost now?

A Hilltop remap is £350 , had my triple black TC with a full remus system done last month , would you believe it without the remap the £1000 remus system had removed about 5 bhp !! She went in with 77 bhp at the rear wheel and came out with 101 bhp and it now has more torque at 2000 rpm than it had across the whole rev range before !!

Sounds worth it to me.

I am so, so glad I got rid of the LC (both GS and GSA) and hot this bike.

Gearbox just so smooth, I can ride without earplugs. The LC just made such a noise!!!

Screen is not flopping all over the place.

To be fair not as perky and a bit more vibby but

I am just really, really happy I got this bike

I agree

My 90th Ed GSA was a great bike, and the best GS/GSA i'd ever owned or ridden.
And when i test rode the GSA LC, I had issue with the same problems as you.

In fact, i'd go as far as to say that, if i had to choose between having my 90th Ed back...or....a new GSA LC....i'd take my old one back again.

Yes, I still do have a little regret in selling it.:tears

Ummmmm. you don't believe that do you? ...... just say'n 77 becomes 101bhp....... hummmm

Yes it is and I paid the same. However I've just had my KTM remapped and dyno'd by Track Electronics and it was £180 for exactly the same thing - I think Mr Hilltop is taking the pi55..

how do you no its the same thing ???

bit more info it has a full Patent on MY software that I designed and wrote over 2 years.
so if you're happy with your remap good for you

so have fun ride safe
geoff

I love my 90 year, best colour scheme they ever did I think. But I'm seriously tempted by the new TE, I've got a days test ride lined up on one and will make my mind up then, but if I do love the TE it would still be a tough decision to make the change:nenau

I'm happy with your re-map and the KTM's. Same dyno, same printouts and same amount of time - maybe slightly different software but look at the price difference!!

I had to go to the Forest of Dean and back today - 240 by the shortest route with lots of B roads. avg MPH 49 avg MPG 52

I'm really impressed with my 90 year bike and the remap, IMO it's more about the smoothness it brings. Mind you it could all be due to my yellow top box

well I was stood next to the bike in the dyno both while the runs were done , This guy clearly knows his stuff as BSB teams dont go to bullsh*t merchants and the thing feels smoother through the bars and wants to wheelie more. It seems that the bikes run very lean from standard to make emissions regs and the remus system only made it worse. I always thought the correct fuel to air ratio would make for most efficient combustion and more power
