R1200 GSA screen support advice needed

Has anyone used or bought and discarded the cheap aliexpress GSA screen supports?

I’ve just bought a GSA screen for my GS (cheers Steve) and would like to fit the second support that goes with the screen, the BMW version is north of £200 but there are some cheaper versions on eBay etc that are hard to ignore at their price point. I know you get what you pay for etc. but I wonder what other people have done…?

Try Cymarc, they also supply Nippy N, had a set for many years very good.
 
I've got the AliExpress one on my 1250 GSA. Been on there for 3 years with no issues.
 
I think I’ve spotted the difference; the BMW version is alloy and the others appear to be steel.
 
Nippy Normans supply Touratech, Wunderlich, Desert Fox and many other makes of accessories.
