I want to change my one piece BMW handguards to the later two piece style BMW hanguards. I understand the part number for the kit is 71607705265.
As I already have the older style one piece handguards fitted I also need to change the top of the clamps that the mirrors screw into. The part number for these mirror clamps is 32727673917.
According to the microfiche these mirror clamps are not included with the kit, however, the photographs I have seen of the kit show the two clamps included.
Can I just order the handguard kit or do I have to also buy the mirror clamps?
Has anyone else changed the handguards on a 2004-2007 GS?
