Sold R1200GS 2016 TB

For sale is my 2016 BMW R1200GS in the best colour – namely Triple Black. I am selling her as I am going to play with an x-Adv for a bit, and may well keep my old Kzp that I am currently advertising for sale!

I purchased the GS from the original owner around 18 months ago, and had planned on this being my last GS – particularly as it ticked all the boxes ref spec and pre tft.

Mileage is 21k, and an MOT to June. There is a good service history, with the last oil / filters etc being done 2k miles ago.

Usual corrosion on the engine and fins area, plus other things like tank protectors that could be replaced, but commensurate with age, and easy to tart up if wanted!

Tyres are Roadtec 02 - with about 2k miles on them

The bike is loaded with nice and practical accessories:
Headlamp protector

Twin spotlamps

Additional twin power socket on front wing, so you can power your phone etc

Tall screen, and supports for screen (original included)

Crash bars

rear Mudslinger is also fitted to protect your legs from crud.

Colour matched pillion seat.

Vario panniers plus Vario top.

Lots of other bits like frame protectors / wing mirror externders.

Being the late 2016 model, you get all the toys including cruise / ESA adjust.

The bike has been mostly used for a couple of bike trips with friends over the last year. It has performed superbly notably on Trips to France, andGermany.

In summary – this is a genuine private sale of a very tidy bike.

I think it’s a tough market out there at moment, your price seems reasonable I think.

I’d say that people are wanting TFT models on the GS now at that sort of money.

With luggage it will sell though.

Personally I’d put it on eBay.

You’ll get some duty wankers in there, but it will sell I recon

Well the DVLA have decided that they cant transfer my private plate online, due to it not being taxed at some point in the last 5 years. So there will be a delay until that comes back. Will keep the advert live, and if someone wants it at £6500 its here...

Absolute bargain. However no one is spending. I have a mint 66 plate TE not triple black with 24k and I was offered 6500 part x

Well surprise, the DVLA were far quicker than the 4 weeks they said it would take.
So the bike is available to go now. There are lots of extras on the bike too that just helps finish it off - eg tank bag, frame plugs and guards.
It a good genuine bike that will serve it's new owner well - £6500....
