R1200gs adv spec

I couldn't really tell much difference on mine with the OEM setup. As I've upgraded to Wilburs I can really tell the difference between each setting. If you can go back to the bike, with ignition on, but not with the engine running, cycle through the 3 options as you jump up and down on the seat. You should easily feel the difference in damping. If not then either the ESA motors are shot or the shock itself.

Thanks mate will give it ago. Work out how to change all he settings at the time. How much we're your wilburs for parts and how much for fitting. Going to try and beta free fitting deal in the price for when they need replacing

No, the ESA button is small and round. If its a long and horizontal switch on top of the L/H cluster that will be the Aux lights ON/OFF button - standard on the '08 and onwards ADV.

"Additional Fog Lights" were (and still are) a £300 option on the GSA. They are included in the "Premium" package.

The Wilburs WESA was £1,275 for both front and rear including fitting. They use the ESA electronics off your donor OEM ESA shocks so you really want to make sure those work OK even if the shocks don't.

Thanks mate very useful

Did you get yourself sorted with a new bike?

Just about to start hunting around myself for a 1200. Just wondering from what others have mentioned, can anything be seen visually to know a twin cam model from the earlier one and when did they first come out?

Cheers

twin cam 2010 onwards and has only 2 rocker cover bolts and vertical spark plug cap plastic cover.and of course exhaust valve before the can
