Is it possible to put a GSA petrol tank on a GS? i would love to have a GSA :drool but my legs are a bit on the short side :( (about 4inches) so next best thing is to try and make my GS look like a GSA

I think you can get a suspention alteration to get the Gsa lowered I believe...

...I'm sure someone will be around soon to confirm or deny. :thumb2

If you can ride a GS on a standard seat height, you can ride a GSA on a 'low' seat height. The GSA seat height on a low seat will be the same. Sargent and BMW do the low seat options.

I've got my GS seat on low setting and i'm on tiptoe ( told you i was short ) i also tried a low seat and there was not a lot of difference except it was like sitting on a plank of wood

I think the likes of Wilbers do lower shocks for the GSA, though it might also involve fitting a different centre stand. The tank conversion on the GS is feasible though. I did it myself back in 2007 and haven't looked back.

The first step to lowering the GSA is to put the GS seat on it. Instantly becomes more manageable.
