Fitted a heated waistcoat this morning; nice and toasty on the way into work
When I disconnected the battery terminals to connect the wire, I noticed each terminal sparked. This suggests the bike was drawing power from the battery, but it was switched off (key wasn't even in the ignition).
Is this possible? It could explain why the bike seems to struggle to start these days and why when I plugged my charger in last night it shot straight up to 2A. I know it keeps time but that shouldn't take more than a few milliamps. There's nothing else wired in to the bike.
Maybe I should consider an optimate. Seems a bummer though when a brand new £10K bike can't keep itself fully charged despite daily usage, or perhaps 5 miles twice a day Mon-Fri isn't enough for it?
