R1200GS LC Crash Bars??? Did I buy the correct ones?

Hi There

I just took delivery of my 2014 TE last week. I didn't have crash bars so I've picked up a set on eBay.

Would anyone know if I have got the correct ones? The thing that is throwing me off is that they have an extra connection point on the top to connect to upper crash bars. Does that mean they should be on an Adventure rather than mine?

They look like genuine bm however 2014 was the change over year for the mounting points, some 2014 bikes had early bars, way to tell if your 2014 bike is a later one is, the rear rack does it have the round BMW emblem or just the letters BMW embossed into the rear rack ! If its BMW embossed letters you have the later frame.

Them bars are from a GSA tho.

Cheers for the replies. I have them on now. They seem to fit... As for the frame it has the BMW letters embossed in the frame at the rear.

Are the extra connection points on the top ok to mount spot lights to?

Your bike is the later framed model, you could always use the extra mounts to fit spotlights !
