R1200GS LC speedometer

Hi, anyone know if the speedometer for the r1200gs lc can be used in other bike ??
namely the older 11xx bike?

I would say no - 1100/1150's are cable-driven from the front wheel whereas the 1200is sensor-driven from the inside edge of the final drive. (That's what I see on my '05 1150 GSA and '11 1200 TC GSA).

I thought about that as I needed new clocks for my Rockster.....1200's are canbus so I would imagine it would be a no.
I fitted a Acewell in the end but can't say I'm entirely happy with the end result.

i was also thinking about getting an acewell 5 series but dunno if it will work.....

No change of lc clocks working on another model .
They need coding to work on a different lc
