FN in MT, is that the same Cascade just North of Craig and Wolf Creek? If so, I was there 2 weeks ago, had lunch in the Badger Cafe. Nice quiet little town, and great sandwiches in the cafe

Shuck Raider,

Yes the same Cascade, Montana. I am the lone R1200GS owner in the area. Also the resident Montana Highway Patrol Trooper as well.

Beautiful area isn't it? The road from Wolf Creek to almost Great Falls traces the path of Lewis & Clark. Imagine the area back 200 years ago before the whites arrived?? Had to be amazing.

What brought you out here?? Next visit ABSOLUTELY get in touch.

hello guys,

was at bmw show room ordering clothing and noticed a catalogue with lots of scale models. they are all made by a company called MINICHAMPS......

i had a quick look at the 12gs' price and if i remember correctly bmw sells it for £39.99.

happy riding!

Bought one on ebay, yellow, black, black. It's a great model made of metal and plastic and looks very accurate, even the suspension works. The guy selling them on ebay in the UK even posted it off before the cheque cleared. At least I can sit in the lounge and drool over it while I await the real thing, hopefully November, just in time to enjoy the winter!

I took the part numbers to my Dealer and they wouldn't come up when he tried them on the Factory parts site. ???????

Still trying to buy a model to match the yellow R12GS in my garage. Have to check out e bay I guess.

My dealer could find the red and the blue models, but the yellow model was not on the parts site under that number. Still haven't found out what the number is for the yellow model.

Has anyone bought the yellow model directly from BMW and have the part number?

I got my blue-grey-grey-spoked one from my dealer. The detailing is astonishing!! :D :D
I've now painted the panels and seats, so it's now blue-black-black - however, the paint (normal enamel scale model paint) on the rubber(ish) seat hasn't dried... What's wrong..?!?

Now, big problem is how to get wire-spoke wheels...?!?

How long before Touratech start making bits for it?

Could do with a decent set of panniers & a Remus can

I bought one.................I tried to start it up and couldn't..........I have taken it back to the dealer for a suspected EWS failure under warranty :D
