Hi folks,

Hope everyone down south is surviving this heat and managing to enjoy it.

I’ve had my cheap Chinese replacement sensors for a few months, I coded them to the bike a few months back no worries.

Today I had a new rear tyre fitted and at same time had the guys install the new rear TPMS sensor.

On run to garage the two old sensors displayed the pressure for each tyre, the front always took longer to display maybe a mile then it would show the 36psi. Worth mentioning the GS911 has also been logging an intermittent from the front Tpms which I imagine is a depleted battery after more than 12yrs service.

The question I have is since I have one rear new sensor from wheel set B and the front still the original wheel set A will this combination work together or does it need to be coded in GS911 that both banks use my old front sensor code until I change the front wheel tyre and sensor? Or can you only use wheel set A or wheel set B together at same time?

Reason I ask is that the new sensor came up with the 42psi reading as soon as I set off from garage, however the rear still didn’t display anything after the mile journey back from the garage.

Any experience of this would be appreciated. Hopefully I’ve explained the situation enough.

Thanks
Mark

Good excuse to go into the bike shed as it is only 24 C in there.
I have 2 sets of wheels.
Using the wake up tool activated the rear tyre on the bike Set A and the front tyre set B sat at the side of the bike. Both sensors are displayed on the dash.
Hope this helps.

Good man, thanks for that I possibly just need a bit longer for the front to wake with them low battery so that’s good. I will go and give it a try as well with the wake up tool.
