It's an absolute beast now...will power wheelie all by itself in 2nd without too much effort

I'm not sure what's going on at 6,400 but I'll have to ask him next week.

I am interested to hear why it's felt that the new GS benefits from being remapped at Hilltop?
By all accounts when you change the headers and can on the BMW, and for that matter, any injected bike with oxygen sensors, the bike sorts out its own fuelling, at least that's what the good folk at BMW tell me.
So more specifically....
If I change the whole system from front to back, toget rid of the cat and flap at the same time...
Do I need it dyno'd, (thus remapped)?
Does this need a power commander?
Does it have to be Hilltop, or can 'my mate up the road' with his Dyno do it

Cheers

personally I think the results that are being shown by the graphs to the money being spent are a waste of money and time, not sure on prices but a full akro and pc5 with set up that's gotta be what £1500-£2000..? for less than 5hp gain and torque curve that's not exactly running away from the stock one..? I'd say save your money and learn to ride it faster .. :-) or quit fuckin around and just turbocharge it.. !

Well you could be right! However if you fit a full system and go see a man called Geoff (which is where Nutty will be heading when he gets his shit together), then you'll get about an extra 25hp at the rear wheel, plus a luverly smooth torque curve that is a joy to ride! :thumb:thumb2

25hp worth the money less than 10 learn to ride it, I've spent years around dyno's tuning and turbo bikes & in most situations a 125 rwbhp is great until someone on an 85 hp tank slaps ur arse on the way past..! I only refer to when I rode my 1150 gsa & used to rape just about anything that came near it @ less than a ton :-) now I have a stock 1200 gsa wc & it feels like cheating :-)

If that's really the case, then they're only telling you part of the story. See the link in my sig.....
