its all very well you tall folk going on about low/standard seats. I am only 5ft 1 and have an ambition to ride an r1200gs. I know the low seat won't solve my problems. does anyone have experience of having a new suspension unit made to accommodate a very small person?

Hi Fran,

It is possible. Try giving hyperpro a call they are usually quite flexible with special orders. Mind you that both the front and rear will have to be changed in order to maintain the bike's geometry.
