called at my local beemer dealer two weeks ago for a test ride on a r1200gs@blue bell crewe. within 50 yds of riding the gs i am thinking i wont be out on this long ( shock from just getting off a zx9r) After a six mile motorway stint, some fast A roads and a run over the `cat and fiddle` to buxton and a quick run through bosley (stunning road) i`m finding my self running out of time before blue bell shuts to return the bike. But by now i dont wont to take it back at all.Any way cut a long story short the gs is orderd and the kwacker has to go.ive got the gs bug (by the way my 02 plate zx9r is for sale if you know anybody who might be interested)and looking forward to a summer on the gs.

Yo Yo brickflicker the self same shit happened to me ,just went to see what all the fuss was about and to satisfy the old curiosity, anyways look at the thread "big gs surprise " at my escapade.Glad you got the bug too looks like the rumours were true eh........

great bike

i did the same last year never riden a beemer before but always liked the GS1150 but a little too tall/heavy for me to feel 100% comfortable with but then the GS1200 came out so with out even seeing 1 put my deposit on then waited 4 long months. Got it in may last year and what a bike, its fantastic so glad i've now bought the GS after many years looking at them. :D

Test riding a GS does seem to be an expensive business......free test ride, my arse, cost me £10k:D :D :D

R1200gs

yeh know what you mean 10k plus and why do they make so many extras that we have to buy;) :eyebrow :wave

Just make sure you have plenty of books to read for all the times they seem to be ending up back at the dealers.......

A response at last!! 1-0 to me then :)

Perhaps you'll now engage your brain before considering another pointless posting :tosser

Ah, Essex..yes have heard about the place........beautiful countryside spoilt by some nasty people so I've been reliably informed. No idea what Colchester is like though. The Romans left it a long time ago so I suppose there's a clue there!

TCF

Good lad!

Getting better isn't it....... and a whole paragraph or have you discovered spell check?

Anyway, you obviously crave attention (rather like a special needs child) hence your interpretation of a 'let's wind em up and get a reaction post', only problem is TCF, all this puerile posturing is totally devoid of any humour (with me so far?....... good!)

Here's a suggestion, the next time you feel in need of attention stick a halibut on your head and walk down your local highstreet.....that should do the trick, then perhaps you won't feel the need to antagonise/irritate the good folk on this site anymore...... ;)

Finally if you really feel the need for help why not become a sponsor and we can trade insult's, err sorry... exchange view's via PM, am sure the rest of the board don't want to see us following each other (and playing one-upmanship) around this site

TTFN

PS, if can't be arsed to sponsor, up stick any more messages for me in the rant section ;)
