Just bought a new 2007 1200 adventure and noted that there is only a single knock sensor. The left cylinder has the sesnsor fitted just inboard of the throttle body. The right cylinder seems to just have a threaded hole - no sensor fitted. Anyone else only have only one sensor? I know the earlier 1200Gs had a sensor on each cylinder for sure...........maybe the later ones don't?
Any thoughts?
Of course maybe I should spend more time riding the thing than looking at it! Well, you know what, I would love to - I am just waiting for the snow to go away - apparently there is going to be another 'big dump' tomorrow! Maybe I should move back to the UK!
