I see from a number of posts that the ability of the fuel gauge to read accuratly on the 1200GSA is questionable at the least.
From full I go 145 miles= down 1 bar, 153miles= down another bar, 165miles= 2 bars left, 285miles= 1 bar left. This is a pain, what is the point of the fuel gauge??
Has anyone managed to get this fuel gauge problem sorted??
Has anyone tried to push it through with BMW on a warrenty basis, faulty goods, not fit for purpose.
If all 1200GSA have the same problem, BMW should do something??? If it is not all 1200GSA, then why do some have faulty gauges, which as some one said "are for entertainment value only" !!!!

Motor cycle fuel guages are much more difficult than the cars guages to get accurate, g forces, load & suspension settings all effect the tank sender, saying that my fuel guage is as good as any i've had on a bike, its very accurate when you need it (within 50 miles of empty)
