I would like to know is it possible to fit ALUMINIUM R1200GSA side panniers on a R1100GS?

It is, I think the frames you need are manufactured by Holin or something similar.

Touratech also make the racks but I think they're only listed in the 1150 section of their catalogue.
I fitted the Holan ones to my first 1100 and they were an absolute bastard to get on. The mounting holes were way out and the racks needed a fair old beating to get them to fit.
I opted for the Touratech racks on my second 1100. In contrast, they fitted perfectly and are far better. They come with mounts to lower your rear foot pegs as well.
If I was doing it again, I'd opt for the Touratech ones. Far less hassle to fit.
