I got NOWT, no discount on a XR for a cash purchase so I'm going to pay for the bike on my credit card, dealer will have to swallow the card payment costs and I'll be covered under section 75 if I encounter any issues .

Hi Cortina,
If you or anyone else want a very slightly used 'As New' RT-LC, I am selling mine...
Last year I purchased a new 1200GS-LC and an RT-LC 'cos me and the missus couldn't decide which bike would suit our needs the best. (yes extravagant I know.)
Earlier this year we did the BMW Riders Club Rob Roy 3-day Event in Scotland on the RT-LC
Yesterday we arrived back from a 10 day trip to Austria which we did on our GS-LC
Both superb bikes, but the one that suits us best is the GS-LC, so I will be arranging to sell our RT-LC next week, if you or anyone else is looking for a bargain please email me for a selection of photographs of this lovely bike on: [email protected]
or mob. 07760 483 643
This is a fully spec'd bike September 2014 bike, it's not one of the earlier models released with the recalled shocker issue.
Spec list includes:
Dynamic pack (all power modes).
Chrome on stainless exhaust.
Hill start braking system.
Quick-shift pro gear-change
Day-time led headlight rings (halos).
Heated front and rear seats.
Optimate charging cable.
BMW factory fitted alarm system.
Tire pressure indicators
Central locking.
Colour; Ebony
ACF'D from new.
This bike is immaculate, it has obviously had its first service, the mileage now is just 1,800 miles.
This bike cost just a few quid short of £1700.00 from Ryders last September, and has been kept in a warm garage for most of it's life and is perfect!
I'm looking for £12,600.00 ...if you want to save some money please get in touch.

The discount you get is always the best decision, so good call. Having been a new RT owner for nearly three weeks now I congratulate you.
Do stop and think about the seat. I'm about 30-31 inside leg, prefer the standard seat on high. One thing that was explained when I picked up the bike was that the seats are set to sit flush against the tank when on the low setting, so if I was gambling I'd go for the standard seat on low rather than the low seat on high.
Whichever way you go, enjoy. Can't wait for the 5k rev limit to got away post run-in
