It's such a pity, I also really wanted to like this bike, but it just doesn't make the grade imho. Come on BMW, sort it and you'll be on another winner.

Yes, its very nice (although if they restyled their aircooled twin I'd be all over that). You're going to see millions of them and it looks a lot like the Trumpet 675 thingy too. I think in the real world its not going to be as much fun to ride as it is to look at. The S is funky and different and has usuable performance imho.
