R1250 Rallye with black wheels

My Rallye basic, due start of March, is getting the rear frame powder coated white whilst they install the Ohlins shocks. It’s then getting 17” black alloy wheels.

Yup, like that a lot!! Spoke to me local dealers about the wheels last week and told them i wasn't keen on the gold. They happily advised they would change them out for a black set if and when i decided make a purchase...
For the first time I also prefer the 1250GS Rallye over the GSA Rallye!!! Something i never thought would happen...

Don't worry he will only keep it a couple of weeks whilst he decides what next to buy (like the last Rallye). I'm only jealous at his buying prowess. Me. I buy one and feel obliged to keep it.

I kept the last one for a year, which was always the plan from day one. The 1290 was loads better than the 1200 Rallye, IMO, which is why the Rallye went. I’ll see what the 1250 is like when I test ride it next weekend.

If they are a good dealer probably nothing as I would say there would be plenty of non Rallye customers who would like to have a set of gold wheels as a “no cost upgrade”.
I think the exclusive looks better with the gold wheels than the Rallye does.

Have to agree about the handguards though, think the white look cheap, they'll be the 1st thing i'm changing
