Hi all,
I recently purchased an Approved Used vehicle 2020 Model around 4 months ago. I have had a GS before, however I've had several issues with this particular bike, mainly with the front calliper leaking fluid, despite the dealer having tried to fix this numerous times.

With the new season upon us, I'm now reluctant to carry on like this, and ideally would like to return the vehicle as not fit for purpose, perhaps easier said than done. Nevertheless, please can any of you advise on my options? Has anyone been in a similar position?

Thanks all.

What calliper is fitted, if Haynes one it’s a know issue. Replacement is the only fix I believe. Good luck.

My GS is September 20 registered and was held for a day or so for new calipers to be fitted due to the known leak issue.

Sounds like your bike may have missed that recall & nothing wrong with the non leaking Haynes by the way.

The dealer should try replacing the seal in the calliper block. If this doesn’t work the block should be replaced for a single unit that doesn’t have the seal. The dealer should know this.

After 3 attempts you would have thought so…

If you go along the lines of rejection then I think its best to have the finance company on board so to speak From the consumer rights act I believe you have 30 days to reject. I think BMW may also have their own rejection policy but it doesn't trump your consumer rights
