R65 Front Brake

The front caliper on my 89 r65 was seized so I spit the two haves and attempted to remove the piston. Well I'm a roofer and the hammer and chisel system is obviously not the best way to go so I need another caliper. Should I just fit a standard replacement Brembo or something else? If standard does anyone have a working one for sale?

When I used my electrician hammer & chisel on the pistons to get them out I priced up the parts. I got a nissin 4 pot caliper for around the same price & got an adapter made. Works well.

I have a full set of front brakes from my low mileage R65 that are surplus to requirements.

I have no idea what a caliper is worth?

I got £50 GBP for a GS caliper on Ebay this week.
BUT ,, Your R65 Caliper is the Same as that Mounted to Moto Guzzi T3,s and some early Lemans , These command
silly Money .
I have seen them sell at up to £150 for the Pair .... ........
So i am Saying it all depends what you market them as .

The Market dictates any Value tho .

I have plenty of calipers thier left and right hand 4 pots and for front mounted fork right hand and back of fork leg left hand 2 pots all have good pads no coroushion and have all coverd a meer 30.000 miles 110mm centers ! allso have one breaded hose Pm me if your intrested
