Reoccurring oil leak from my final drive.
1982 R80. Previously replaced output seal twice and brake cam O rings.

Bike sat upright for a year unused, no leak. Then moved to side stand and noticed oil leak within days. Dripping from bottom of drive on to the wheel.

Removed wheel and appears to be the brake cam O rings leaking.

I have ordered 10x2.2 O rings. Funny thing is that the shaft looks to have machined grooves for 3 O rings. 2 at the brake shoe end and 1 at the spline end. Is this normal?

Not sure how to post photos, mine is similar to that but has 2 o ring groves at the cam end

Update**
I fitted three new 10x 2.2mm nitrile O rings.
Could feel the slightly increased resistance then turning the shaft. 10 mile road test, allowed the bike to sit in side stand for a few days and then removed the wheel. Bone dry!!
Just need to replace the shoes now.
Hopefully this helps someone else with the same issue. It is a compromise/workaround to replacing the bushing but should last I think.
