Following todays foray out to the MOT Testing Station (failed on rear wheel bearing) decided that my riding skills and brakes are not suited to the skittish TKCs in the wet, in traffic. So want to replace with something a bit more road orientated.
The road tyres (Lasertec, Bt45) I am looking at seem to be all tubeless. I presume there is no problem putting a tube in, but I would like to have a bash at removing/fitting the tyre myself (I've bought tyre levers
).
So before I give it a go, question is this. I am presuming that tubeless tyres have a reinforced sidewall; does this make getting the tyre on and off with hand tools pretty difficult (compared with a tube specific tyre) and therefore your just best taking it to a shop? Or is there little difference?

Best price I've ever actually seen; more of a favour to fellow tossers if you ask me !
