BMW R80 Airhead GS
It’s a Swiss import, unrestored but in great, honest original condition. I’ve owned it since Jan 2025 and it starts, runs and rides well.
It has recently had around £600 spent on it, including:
Full sonic clean of both carburettors
New carburettor floats
New needle valves
New jets
New carb rubbers
New throttle cables
I’ve also changed all the oils, filters and spark plugs, and fitted Bridgestone AX41 tyres, which are as new.
It starts on full choke and quickly settles into a lovely slow idle. It starts, runs and rides well.
It would make a great bike to use as-is, or a fantastic basis for someone wanting to carry out a sympathetic refurbishment. It retains its full original BMW tool kit.
83, 500km approx (heated grips are not currently working).

I appreciate the market is pretty slow at the moment, but I can’t see myself using the bike in the near future and am trying to have less toys in my shed that need attention
