hi all,
at the weekend i decided because i have not got much history on my newly acquired r80gs paralever i would strip the shaft out and give it a good grease up everywhere, but i cannot undo the left-hand bearing bush thats the one with the 12mm hex
i tried a little heat from a hairdryer but no good, i even broke a socket it's in that tight , is this normal what are they torqued too?i done this same job on a r100gs years ago it was easy , anyway i was that far into it that i just pulled the whole swing arm assembly off and done it that way but i still have a siezed or very well glued in bearing bush that i would like get loose, can i use a blow torch carefully to get some more heat to melt the nutlock or any ideas how to do this? cheers andy.
