R80RT - Reg: D302 NTG

Hi folks

I'm trying to trace my old R80RT (Burgundy in colour). I bought it from new from the bMW dealer in Newport and p/x when I moved up to a K100RT.

The only info I could get on the internet was that the last date it was taxed was 1991.

I'd like to try and get it back as a second bike if its still out there.

Any info appreciated.

PS: DVLA route to get info might be tricky as this is a 'nice to trace' enquiry

It's probably still trying to pull the skin off a rice pudding. Some things are best left in the past.

Not taxed since 1991 ! It's either being hoarded or it's been scrapped. Might sound like a hopeless case, but I know someone who traced a bike that had not been taxed for similar length of time. Might be a slim chance but I wonder if you contact any second hand part outlets wether they can let you know wether it has passed through their hands?
