What speedo should be fitted to the R80Rt,

I mean what should be printed on the dial, my speedo seems to under read somewhat, so I suspect it's the wron one, and if I buy another I want to be sure of getting the right ratio!

I have to say , I am not impressed by the way the Speedo is mounted , I initially thought something was Askew ,
but no ,,,, It wobbles about just as it seems to be intended .
I have taken it off and all the rubbers seem fine , i tried overtightening it , but it still wobbles .
I am surprised that more of these are not consigned to the bin !..

I meant what is the code at the bottom on the front dial, that denotes the gearing, my speedo is clearly wrong as at a Gps 50mph it is reading 60mph

Hi Ian, this one's on my 83 R80RT - I'm guessing the W - 1.244 is what you're looking for. I don't have a feel for how accurate this one is, as I've not yet fitted a GPS to it, but I'd not be at all surprised to see it over-reading in the manner yours does...

Thanks for that, I will check mine in the morning, if it is the correct one it's no real problem, just means leaving gps on or fitting a cycle speedo, but if incorrect it's worth fitting the correct one!
