Hello airheards ive a r80rt and its leak on the crankcase where the barrel meets on the left side of engine some stupid sod decided to use a centre punch where the cylinder head stud crankcase side is where the oil comes out for the rockers can only assume to stop the bolt moving but it leaks there when it runs ,just wondering if I can use jb weld steel stick to sort out the centre punch marks etc then rub it down flat ? I will use a new oil o ring when assembled together what do you think like to save this bike still got plenty of life in it .

Don't quite understand what you are meaning re the centre punch.....but...gulp....sounds very much like your crankcase needs helicoiling etc

where the cylinder head stud goes in some sod centre punched around the stud and it wont seal with the o ring for the oil so gonna have to do something top long cylinder stud hope that helps wish people not bodge things grr never mind I will get there in the end.

loctite 510 will probably seal it fine if you want to bodge it, but i think kenny's probably right in his assessment
