R80ST ignition again

Sorry for asking again but when I got this bike this wire was disconnected on the barrel and everything seemed to work as it should.

Was told that it should be plugged in so did so but when this double wire is plugged in my ignition lights come straight on without a key in.

Any ideas as at the moment thinking I will just leave unplugged.

Done a little searching and could the extra connector with 2 wires be for the voltmeter and clock, but still confused as to why the ignition lights come on when I plug this into the spare space..

To me it seems your ignition switch is either FUBAR'd or more likely the cables are fitted to the wrong terminals.

Cheers all will have another look and check wires with numbers and against pics.

Well had another look and swapped wires around etc, but have come to the conclusion that I may as well just leave the double green wire unplugged, as was when I got the bike, as all seems to work as it should that way..
