Does anybody else own a R850GS, ive been a member for about 5 weeks now and have enjoyed posting a few questions and obviously checking the banter out .Whilst doing this though i have not had one whisper or glimmer of any proud 850 owners. Come on people, blow me away with a massive response and show me im not alone out here. NEAL.:blagblah

Do you live near warrington ?

I own a R850GS love the bike and ill post a picture of my baby but she needs work because iv done 30,000 miles on her since i got her 2 and a half years ago. :)

the first ones is of when i went to Slovenia in 2009 and went through Austria.
The second one is of the road i got stuck on in Norway earlier on this year should not have drove up it but you know when your bike inspires confidence you just go with it.
And the 3Rd one is another picture of my Norway trip up a mountain with out a paddle. :) Amazing bike can express it enough.

a little older post but I've been offered a 850 with twin headlights but the egine has been changed to the 1150.
the price is a good one but just wondered how different the 1150 model will be compared to the 850/1150 one i'm considering.

Looking at 2800 for a 98 model.

any advice would be great

The 850GS and the 1150GS are different beasts.

850GS 5 speed box, cable clutch, low ratio bevel box

1150GS 6 speed box, hydraulic clutch, higher ratio bevel box

Might be worth checking out what else is not original apart from the CCs
