Hi looking for some advice, tried changing one of my fork oil seals, but can,t get it out, seems to be quite hardened and has started breaking up when trying to prise it out, I am now stuck with part of the seal in the fork leg, have tried seal puller and screwdriver, still cant shift it, advice greatly appreciated.

I haven't had the beemer fork legs apart, but if they're like a classic fork leg, then you need to use the stantion as ram to kind of hammer out the seal by pulling it sharply against the seal. Of course you'll need to have unscrewed the retaining bolt from the bottom of the fork leg to do this.

Haven't looked at the manual so I may be taking out of my behind but screwdrivers and seal pullers sounds messy..?

Telelever stanchion just pulls straight out of the lower, and the seal just pops out with a puller after you remove the spring clip that sits above it and holds it in place. At least when it goes well...

Hardened? Is there any oil in the fork then? Pictures would be good if you can. As the others say, there is the clip to remove then lever it out if it's the same as the 1150. You could try gently warming up the fork from the outside. Also get the thinest thing you have and tap it down the side of the seal and leave some penatrating oil in. You don't want to gouge around scratching the fork. You could try heating up the end of a small screwdriver and seeing if that can slide down the side.
